Data Controller
MontMara SRL · Viale Parioli, 73, 00197 Roma (RM) · Email: info@montmara.it · Tel. +39 377 579 5029
Types of data processed and purposes
1. Browsing data
The IT systems that operate the Site acquire, in the course of normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (for example IP addresses and pages visited). Such data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to monitor its correct operation and security.
2. Data provided through contact and request forms
When you complete the contact form, the demo request or the client area forms, the data you provide (such as name, email, telephone number, name of your venue or company) is processed for the following purposes:
- to reply to requests for information and contact;
- to give access to the product demos requested;
- to manage the delivery of support through the ticket system;
- to fulfil contractual, accounting and legal obligations.
3. Recording of cookie preferences
When you express your choices through the cookie banner, the Data Controller records proof of consent as required by Art. 7(1) GDPR. The following are stored: date and time of the choice, categories accepted or refused, language and page browsed, version of the notice, browser type, a random identifier generated by the device and a cryptographic hash of the IP address. The IP address is never stored in clear text: the hash allows a match to be verified without making the user identifiable. This data is used solely to demonstrate that consent was obtained, and never for statistical or marketing purposes.
Legal basis
Depending on the case, the processing is based on the consent of the data subject (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), on the performance of pre-contractual and contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b), on compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6.1.c) and on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in managing the requests received (Art. 6.1.f).
Processing methods and security
Data is processed using IT and electronic tools, adopting technical and organisational measures appropriate to ensure its security, confidentiality and integrity, and to prevent unauthorised access, in line with the principle of data protection by design.
Data retention
Data is retained for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected and in compliance with the time limits set by law. Data relating to contact requests not followed by a contractual relationship is kept for the time needed to deal with the request and is then deleted.
Cookie consent records are kept for 30 months from the date of the choice and are then deleted automatically: this period covers the duration of consent (six months) plus the time needed to prove compliance.
Communication and disclosure
Data may be processed by authorised personnel and by external parties appointed as data processors (for example hosting and technical support providers), within the limits necessary to carry out the purposes stated above. Data is not disseminated.
Data transfer
Data is processed within the European Union. Should a transfer to third countries be necessary, it will take place in compliance with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR.
Rights of the data subject
You may exercise at any time the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, as well as withdrawal of consent. Requests may be sent to info@montmara.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
